Okay so i know im a nerd for posting this blog.. and I know i'm gonna get crap from Ian as he likes to call twilight "the nerd books".. but I don't care! I must propose to the world that I am not on Team Edward.. as the most of you common folk are! ha ha.. Why? Why I ask is everyone in love with Edward? I don't find him charming in the least bit.. which is weird.. cuz the books are designed for you to feel the love between him and Bella.. I see their love.. but i really dont understand it! I CANT NOT see how she can be in love with him. I've only read twilight and new moon and currently reading Eclipse..so maybe.. after this one and before the last and final book i'll understand better.. but honestly nope.. don't think I will. I don't find Edward flattering, I find him cocky and kind of a jerk for abandoning her the way he did. Yes I know he did it "to save her soul" blah blah.. but honestly.. Jacob was there for her thru thick and thin.. how could she not fall in love with him! He's not a pretty boy or a bloodsucker.. he's strong, protective.. and hot! AND he wants her!! he hasn't given up on her for everything she's done and used him for! I don't understand why everyone loves Bella? She's not hot. She's not really a nice girl.. I have no clue why they all want her. Oh well.. its just fiction I suppose.. and I know she won't end up with Jacob in the end.. all i'm saying is.. If i were her.. I would have!!
Jared teases me for every book I read and jokingly calls me a "geek" being as I read one book after another. Reading expands our minds in so many more ways than daily life can provide. It's much more an escape than television. anyway..I see your point. I too, chose Jacob over Edward in book 2...just keep reading is all I say...in the end everything will be just PERFECT! Keep an open mind to it all, let it absorb ;)
